Advanced Solar Electric, Inc. (ASE) provides a complete turnkey approach for solar installations. ASE is proud to have been in business for 10 years and is positioned for growth. We are proud members in good standing with the League of California Homeowners, Better Business Bureau (A+ rating), the American Solar Energy Society, the California Solar Energy Industry Association, and the Thousand Oaks-Westlake Village Chamber of Commerce.

Dewaine Dennis, Marco Suarez, and Carlos Vega, the three owners, have decades of relevant experience in the solar, electrical, and roofing trades. Dewaine’s background includes a degree in physics and 25 years experience in solar sales, consulting, system design, and installation. Unique to solar installation companies, Marco Suarez has more than 20 years in the roofing business and also has a C-39 roofing license. Carlos Vega holds a C-10 electrical license and specializes in large commercial system design and engineering. ASE is not owned in whole or in part by any other share holders or investors, silent or otherwise. ASE carries liability insurance, workers comp, and auto insurance. Weekly safety meetings are conducted with full OSHA compliance.

ASE has been top rated for solar electric systems by the California Energy Commission (CEC) and has installed over 2000 solar electric systems, which include both commercial, residential, and government owned buildings. ASE is so respected in the PV industry that the CEC filmed ASE installing a job and used this instruction video to show how to properly install a solar electric system on their web site.

Recent ASE commercial installations include City National Bank and Saugus Industrial Center. Dewaine was a part of the consultation and design of solar on the LA Convention Center and the world’s only solar powered ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier. Carlos has designed and installed solar for national companies such as Frito Lay.
