December 2009 Installing solar panels on my roof has long seemed like a wise investment. I took the plunge and solicited bids. Most came to the house. A few did the initial evaluation by looking at my roof via Google earth only. By the time Matt from Advanced Solar Electric came around, I had patiently sat through about 15 sales pitches. Matt was the only one who helped me understand my roof in-depth. He was the only one who gave me serious and thoughtful responses to my questions and concerns... The foreman walked me through the order of operations first and answered all my questions. Everyone quietly and methodically set to work. The installation went smoothly and everything was as promised. They left the site clean. Everyone was thoughtful, kind and conscientious. The City of L.A. inspected the project a couple of days later and commented on how professional the installation was, as did the DWP inspector.
